API to create and update customers?

Hello
Can the API be used to create and update customers?
This doesn't seem to be possible because the API keys are for customers not backend users?
Let me know if possible. It's no big deal if not I can make my own extension for it.

That's correct, that's the case. The API is targeted to customers only, not to users, at least not yet.
