Exim is also MTA, but not used for commercial bulk email sending. So technically you can use it to send emails, but depends on the quantity, configuration, etc. e.g. with commercial MTA like PMTA you get more options to control your sending activity (connections, isps, etc.)

@twisted1919 thanks for the suggestion. So if I've understood correctly, it doesn't matter if I use SMTP Connection or API Connection with SendGrid, MailWizz will use it's own tracking system to collect open, clicks, etc.
@twisted1919 if in case we decide to use SendGrid API rather than SMTP connection, then still MailWizz uses own tracking data or it gets fetched from SendGrid?
Also see the screenshots for what I'm talking about, it's huge difference in tracking technologies.
@twisted1919 I don't think it's related to the server where MailWizz is hosted. Because this particular MailWizz instance is only sending few thousand emails from a server that is equipped with following hardware 32GB+ RAM, Multi CPU, 500+ GB SSD, 100% optimised to send over million emails per...
Hello All,
Hope all fine! From the last few weeks I observed an error/bug in MailWizz, where there is a difference (sometimes huge) between statistics (Opens, Clicks, etc.) of MailWizz & ESPs (Email Service Providers) dashboard while using SMTP connection. What do you guys think, why there...
Hey :)
That actually depends on your use case in some cases multiple servers with PMTA, because of load, etc. But if you're sending very low quality but spam (100%) then multiple servers. But I still prefer PMTA as it can be configured as per choice & requirements and open-source MTAs don't...

Hey @twisted1919 :)
An observation that Sent word should be changed to something like Processed, Attempted or as you like. Because Sent word gives sense of that many emails successful.
Thanks
Hey @Alex Chau :)
You can use any services like https://thechecker.co, https://kickbox.com, https://www.zerobounce.net, etc. but please be sure what you're paying for. These services are meant to clean bounces (hard/soft) not SpamTraps/HoneyPots. They can/may detect SpamTraps/HoneyPots only...
Congrats @twisted1919 & team! I must say, you guys are one of the most hard working teams I've known in a decade. The best thing is you are open to community and accept to listen.
Cheers :)
