How to ignore/remove link tracking on mailto links

Hi Twisted, in addition to the above, I'm attempting to write a lengthy email to client trying to explain why he can see that some mailto: links were clicked but not others. I have an email template with a number of products and a button saying 'Click here for info' behind all those buttons are...

Import and multi value custom fields

I'd agree with you. It's very handy that custom fields are created on Import, but I think by default any new field is created as text only. If you could have an option to define the field type on import, that could be handy. Also, and please correct me if I'm wrong, while you can import pretty...

Import and multi value custom fields

Thanks as always for your quick response Twisted. A question for you, what is the difference between multiselect and checkboxlist? If I was administering a record within MW, and wanted to mark a field with multiple values, I'd expect to tick the multiple values on a checkbox. e.g. Rather than...

Import and multi value custom fields

Interesting, What would be the correct way to create the import sheet in Excel? Below is a snapshot of an import file in Excel with the industries in Column B, and the industries concatenated with a double quote in Column C. Then follows a snapshot of what that file looks like in a text...

Do you have a list of fields that can't be overwritten?

Import exported mail list WITH mailwizz field values. e.g. IP_ADDRESS/DATE_ADDED

Is it possible to re-import an exported mail list from Mail Wizz and also import the exported MailWizz system data, such as IP address/Date Added? I've done a test below and I'm not getting the result I'd expect. My import file. Note the unsubscribers and Date Added, and Opt out dates...

How to ignore/remove link tracking on mailto links

Hey Twisted. I've got several mail clients installed. I was asking specifically what happens on your machine when you click a mailto link. FWIW I've also found an interesting behaviour. If the mailto link includes subject= it opens the default client right away. If the link doesn't, then it...

How to ignore/remove link tracking on mailto links

Thanks for looking into this Twisted. I'm assuming your browser already has a default mail client assigned to it which is why your email client opens. When you click a mailto link does it also open a presumably blank web page with the tracking URL? Thanks, J.

    Randomize subscribers doesn't seem random

Hi Lauren, not sure what i can show you. Here's a snippet of a delivery log showing 800 email addresses supposedly randomised from a list of 18,000 ascending in name order. All 800 recipients email addresses begin with a. with a few beginning with b. a/an/ang I've also just copied the...

How to ignore/remove link tracking on mailto links

Hi Twisted, thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately not, it opens a browser window that prompts to open a mail service. Rather than to just open the default mail service. Expected behaviour (from previous systems ESPs) I open the email in Outlook/Gmail/Thunderbird Click mailto link Link...

How to ignore/remove link tracking on mailto links

Is there any function to remove link tracking where a href begins <a href="mailto: ? Reason being is that those links rather than open in the default email client, open a new web page at the Mailwizz tracking location. e.g ...

    Randomize subscribers doesn't seem random

I'm having to warm up an IP after moving to a new SMTP server, as such i'm limiting my max. subscribers over a number of campaigns and day. I'm choosing to then randomize the list, but on the two campaigns I've sent already the recipients email addresses all start with "a" in alphabetical order...

Customer Campaign stuck on sending 0%

Thanks Laurentiu i'm confident I do, as the system server is the amazon SES server. The below is from the backend cockpit. As the message above I've added those server details into the customer account, and sent successfully. But I want to be able to send from the backend server by default...

Customer Campaign stuck on sending 0%

Hi Twisted, thanks I've checked in both locations and it's still not sending. I've gone to the application logs and have the following error 2021/02/08 06:28:01 [error] [application] Cannot find a valid server to send the campaign email, aborting until a delivery server is available!Campaign...

Customer Campaign stuck on sending 0%

FWIW I've added the server within a customer account, and the campaign has sent. But that's not my desired outcome. I want to have all the customers default to use the system server to save me the job of manually adding in each customer account.

Customer Campaign stuck on sending 0%

Hi there, I've searched the forums for this issue, and found similar posts, but the resolutions I've found don't seem to work for me. I have one Amazon SES server set up in backend/servers. I have 100+ customers that will use that server. I've been sending successfully for one customer where...
