i am allowed to send max 500 emails per hour

Port 143 is the non-SSL IMAP port used by cpanel servers. You need to connect to the SMTP port, which is 587 for non-SSL or 465 for SSL.

Gmail SPAM - Yahoo is fine

Also if your volume is going to stay that low, you can use free quota on most of the deliver providers. There is a thread in here stating each provider that offers a monthly free quota, usually in the thousands. If you send just 10 or even 100 mails a day, you can use their systems free.

Gmail SPAM - Yahoo is fine

If it is a Cpanel server you will get a false positive on the SMTP banner check. But reverse DNS must be correct or you will get mails rejected at many email systems. I have no facts to back this up, but I will say you can't have a parked domain (redirecting to another domain) and expect emails...

i am allowed to send max 500 emails per hour

I think you should set cron to run every minute, and then put limitations in the delivery server settings. If the server has crossed the limit, nothing will be sent even if the cron runs. The delay between sending is so you don't open too many connections with a domain in a short span. Its not...

Gmail SPAM - Yahoo is fine

I dont know if this is the specific reason, but sending from a domain that is just a redirect to somewhere else is super shady looking. Thats the first thing I would try to change.

i am allowed to send max 500 emails per hour

You can limit it in the delivery server setting if you have only one delivery server. You can put an hourly limit, daily limit, and time between messages (say 8 seconds, or 8000000 micro seconds). Don't forget to include any emails your website may be sending. 8 emails a minute is very close to...

Gmail SPAM - Yahoo is fine

    1) Did you warm up the IPs (start sending a low amount on first day, then increase gradually over 15 days)? Even if its not a private IP, I think any new domain/IP combination needs to be warmed up. 2) Is your DKIM, SPF, Dmarc, and PTR set up properly? 3) "You're listed in 1 blacklist." That...

What is considered a proper unsubscribe link to google?

I was reading this from gmails bulk sender guidelines: "A user must be able to unsubscribe from your mailing list through one of the following means: Make sure recipients can unsubscribe through either: A prominent link in the body of an email leading to a confirmation page, without requiring...

Domain Blacklisted But Passing Spam Tests!

Since the domain rules aren't working in mailwizz you cant really set domain specific limits to separate delivery servers. So you would have to just set over all limits (hourly limit, daily limit, and pause between connections). I am not very experienced with warming up IPs, but I would start...

mail servers not obeying sending rules

Thank you for confirming. I was going crazy testing this. Finally I gave up. Wish I could use PMTA but I can't afford it.

Domain Blacklisted But Passing Spam Tests!

I have heard you should warm up on any change in combination of IP/domain. So even a warm domain with a new IP or a warm IP with a new domain. Dom rep = bad is whats putting it in the spam folder. But its possible that simply sending out without warming up put you in the bad rep category. I...

Domain Blacklisted But Passing Spam Tests!

https://sendgrid.com/docs/assets/IPWarmupSchedule.pdf I don't know if you can warm up a domain that is already listed as bad reputation.

Domain Blacklisted But Passing Spam Tests!

First step is to sign up for google postmaster tools and check out what rating they gave you: https://postmaster.google.com/ I believe the domain also needs to be warmed up. If you check in postmaster tools it will tell you your domain rating and IP rating. If IP rating is not bad and domain...

Domain Blacklisted But Passing Spam Tests!

How much mail have you sent on that domain and IP? It could be you didnt do warm up. Google puts things in spam if you don't warm up the sending IP and domain.

Domain Blacklisted But Passing Spam Tests!

Gmail has their own internal blacklists and measuring system. I have had a 99/100 senderscore with zero spam complaints but gmail will put it in spam. Check your domain and IP rating in google postmaster tools. P.S. I also get a 10/10 on mailtester...

Does MTA play any role in email box deliverability?

When having your own mail server, does the software you use for the MTA (Exim, PMTA, etc.) play any role in mail deliverability? I would assume it should play no role as long as you are following all standards like dkim signing, etc. Anyone have alternate experience with this?
