Transactional emails translation

Hello,
I have a question about translations.

I can't find a translation for a transactional email for example with the subject: You have 1 unread messages! I've added an attachment, a specific email that we don't have translated. I couldn't find it anywhere. In the app the message is translated, it works fine. Only the email arrived untranslated.

Thank you for your help.

The reason why some transactional emails, such as the one with the subject "You have 1 unread message!", are not translated when sent is because they are triggered from the command line (CLI), not from the web interface.
Unlike the web application where the language can be set per user, the command line does not have user context — so it does not automatically select the correct language for translation. By default, it uses the application’s source language (usually English), unless explicitly configured otherwise.
This means that even if the message is translated in the app and visible correctly in the web interface, it may appear in English in emails sent via background processes or cron jobs.

Best,
Laurentiu

Thanks for the explanation.

We understand the limitation and we’re fine with maintaining the translation manually during updates if needed — the translation of these emails is important for us. Could you please point us to where exactly we can change the content of the email (e.g., the "You have 1 unread message!" subject)? Is it somewhere in the config file we can safely edit?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Unfortunately this message is hardcoded inside the code, you can edit it manually but on the next update this will be overwrited.

Best,
Laurentiu
