capture and retain opt-in date

Sorry if this is an obvious issue I'm completely missing at my end...

What's the best way to capture and retain the exact opt-in DateTime? Somehow I'd always thought this was a system field in addition to the "Date added" field. But that doesn't seem to be the case. My lists are all double opt-in and nowhere am I able to capture the date of opt-in confirmation. For GDPR reasons, however, I need to have this field and make it independent of the "Data added" field.

"Date added" changes with every list move, export/re-import etc. Yet, the actual opt-in date is nowhere to be found. What's the trick?

@nadworks - as you know by now, mailwizz is fully gdpr compliant.
We store the opt-in date / ip and user agent, and we do the same for opt-out as well. You can see this information when you export using the list export feature, but you can also check it per subscriber basis, by clicking the profile icon for each subscriber:

That box contains all the info you need, you just have to scroll to see it.

Thanks - odd that I seem to have lost that data with a recent re-import, despite the fact that new subscribers indeed feature this information. Will have to investigate here.
